I am human

I have flaws

I have insecurities

And I have imperfections

I’m not perfect

I make mistakes

And I “mess up” sometimes

Although I know these things, I always forget the most important

I must remember not to beat myself up

I also remember not to dwell on the past

What happened has happened

And what is done is done

Everything happens for a reason

Not every game can be won

I just have to accept it

Swallow my pride

I’m not trying to limit myself

But I only want what is meant to be mine

And to all those so-called judges out there

Karma can be a real bitch at times
